Names and hosts
Write down the couple’s names exactly as they should appear. Agree on any titles, parent names and host wording with your families before laying out the invitation.
Keep a single approved version of the text so that the invitation and other wedding stationery stay consistent.
Time, place and celebration
Be specific about which event guests are invited to. If the akad nikah and reception happen at different times or locations, make the distinction clear.
- Day and date, checked against a calendar.
- Guest arrival time and any important programme times.
- Full venue name and address.
- A checked map link and useful parking notes.
- Dress guidance, if needed.
Make replying straightforward
Decide how guests should respond and who will help with questions. Include an RSVP deadline that gives you enough time to confirm arrangements with your venue.
Only request information you actually need. A guest name and attendance count may be sufficient; explain any additional request clearly.
One last read before sharing
Ask someone who has not written the invitation to read it on their phone. Fresh eyes are helpful for spelling, dates and missing details.
Open every link yourself and check the map destination. A quick final review can prevent guests from having to ask the same question on the day.
